Are you, by chance, running mozilla? Mozilla can't see these pictures, I believe because they have no extension, and Mozilla doesn't detect one automagically.
I had the same problem. It would just load "Junk Characters" until I copied the links into Explorer. But those with extensions worked fine in Mozilla.

That's actually a different problem. It's because AOL automatically reduces the size of your pictures by compressing them further. With other services, you simply have to do the compression yourself, but you won't get really GOOD pictures displayed online unless you pay for the hosting.

 Good Stuff!

I think I like the 'merrong' one the best. I really like the background 'texture' and.... well.... I've always liked girls with purple hair.

I've never used Photoshop (it costs too much) but I do quite a bit with GIMP. I've been making sigs on a computer forum for a while and I make PowerPoint backgrounds for church. Maybe I'll show you some of them.... when I get enough posts to be allowed to link.

Arggh.... I hate it when that happens. You find something cool.... one time. Then when you want to use it again you spend like half an hour looking through all the filters, effects, and other assorted junk... and you never find it...... argghhh. Then two days later.... you remember.... oh yeah.... they call it 'glass block'.... even though it looks nothing like glass block.
