Yeah, heard about that. Coastal Queensland does get a lot of flooding around this time of year, but that would be pretty devastating.

we have had flooding here long ago that was getting bad till they put in a lot of flood detention ponds in the city to capture the excess water. They did such a good job that other cities engineers came here to learn how they did it all. they use the detention areas sometimes to even play sports in and fish and jog around.

just a sprinking here so far, could snow more today but looks like the heavy stuff is further north of here
