I'm supposed to move out of state a week from today to attend the university I'm transferring to. The trouble is, I don't even have a tenth of the money I need to make it through the year. In fact, I'm not sure I have enough for one quarter. I've applied for all the "free money" (grants and loans) that I can, but didn't recieve anything. My only option is loans.
My school was supposed to give me about $5,000 for next year, and I had applied for an outside loan to take care of the rest. It was pretty sizable...and I was turned down. Well, I recieved an offer of another loan, which would give me about $800 a quarter. I thought that was $800 in addition to what the school was already giving me, but no. It was $800 TOTAL. My previous loan offer had been voided by this one. So, I'm in pretty dire circumstances. I really thought that going to this school was something God wanted me to do. He gave me reason to believe it was in more than one situation. Now, though, I'm not so sure. He hasn't provided the money I need, and it's really getting down to the wire. I still plan on going down there next week as if I had piles of money at my fingertips, and I'm going to hope that God comes through and gives me a way to get what I need to attend school. If I can't, I don't know what I'll do.....
If you guys could pray that God provides me with enough money to get through school, that would be great. I'm not afraid of debt, but I think I
d rather win the lottery or something.
