Hey everybody!
This may be a dumb question with an easy solution, but I have never had this happen before.
I access the Web with a dial-up connection - 56k modem. My actual speed is uaully around 48k - 50k.
However, we just moved, and since I have begun accessing the Web from our new home, my modem doesn't go faster than 24k. It's maddening!
I don't recall changing any settings, and from what I know, I don't think the actual phone line would have any impact on modem speed. I haven't changed providers or anything. I am accessing from a new phone number.
Any ideas for what may be causing this vexing problem?
