CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for everyone in North MS. We will be getting bad weather in this afternoon and tonight. It's supposed to be worse than the one killed all those people in TN.

Where I am the storms either went above or below us. Tennessee was hit again with 11 deaths, I think. It's so sad!

I live in Biloxi, MS just north of popps ferry bridge. I play music at the Potter's Wheel Fellowship in Escatawpa, MS. I never would have guessed so many people from the coast would be on here.

This town needs an enema!
My sister lives close to the Pop's Ferry bridge, but she lives just South of it. I am originally from Gulfport and have a brother, Uncles and Aunts, etc. in Laurel and my sister lives in Biloxi. I am currently at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. My parents are still in Gulfport.

I'm amazed at how many from Mississippi are on here, yet I scratch my head at the seeming lack of Louisianans on the site.
To those in the Gulfport/Biloxi area: how would your area be as a place to celebrate a wedding anniversary?
My wife and I just moved from one place to another within our Boston area town, with me a little disappointed God didn't open a door for us to move south. I looked forward to the idea of a week in the Gulfport/Biloxi area for our anniversary. Plymouth, MA is nice
for that but even on April 6, our anniversary date, it's still too cold.
Maybe someday....
