Hi guys, I'm a born Christian and I've known basic theology since childhood. Most of it is just bookish knowledge I suppose. I want to experience God and not just learn about Him. I think it's the best way to develop a relationship with Him.
So I was reading the bible the other day and came across this verse:[FONT="]"Mark 6:5 - And because of their unbelief, he couldn't do any mighty miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them."
So do our faith play a crucial part in us receiving miracles? For example, I have myopia. And it's such an irritation to wear contact lenses everyday. If I have faith and if it's God's will for me to be healed, would I be healed? I've never really asked God to cure me. The doc says it cant be cured anymore; they can only prevent it from worsening. So I find it hard to have enough faith to ask God. I didnt even realize I can ask God until a friend told me that her eyesight was miraculously healed when she prayed. Am I missing out on miracles because of my lack of faith? What should I do?
