Hey, I am new to the post. I've been online since '98 but I never wanted to get into these "forums". Well, I have as of late thrown myself into bible study and I wanted to become a part of a group I could talk with. I also have this desire to talk with someone who is a Christian who has been physically blind since birth. I want to see what they see. I want to find out their view of God having never seen the images this world puts. Oh, by the way, my name is Amanda, miraclemandi is my universal handle across the web. I am 33 years old. Single, never been married, no children. I have one cat, who is my baby, of course. I live in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Of course I have a fabulous testimony as it contributed to my being saved, but I won't go into that now as I work third shift in a convenience store and it is almost my bedtime. I did want to go ahead and join once I found the site. Thanks. Can't wait 'til next time! 'Til then, I'm out.

Hi Amanda, it is great to have you here.

My mother in law is blind as well as deaf, deaf from birth blind from 20's. With taking care of her I noticed it is rare to find people with enough compassion to reach out to the blind and/or deaf community. Good for you.


It's amazing to watch my MIL. Cannot see or hear, yet when the Spirit is moving at a service she is grinnig from ear to ear. Only by the grace of God could she live day to day and still maintain the unbelievable faith and happiness that she has.
