CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've been doing some renovations on my home, with husband's and children's help! Between that and summer activities, we've been very busy.

Wow! I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. I believe I have used correct English, since one would not say "with husband help" if it were said alone in context. "With husband's help" and "with children's help" put together as "with husband's and children's help".

Hello Tishri! And other names I recognize...IITB, vis, and a couple of others. Been a loooong time since I posted here!
I guess, a quick update. Wow, how long has it been? I've got 4 kiddos now, we're still homeschooling, we moved to another town in the same state to be closer to family, and I'm working from home while hubby has taken over some of the homeschooling and a lot of the housework. (He. Is. Awesome.)
I was referring a friend to CF today, so thought I'd drop by real quick. Love y'all, and looking forward to catching up on the threads a bit!
