If someone who believed in God and loved God or at least was searching for God was searching for answers to those questions I would invest my time to give the answers but for someone who rejects God it would make no difference to them if they had the answers I don't have the time to invest.
Surely the answer is the same regardless of how is seeking it.

If you had read my other posts in this forum you would see that I am genuinely investigating the existence of god. The unfulfilled messianic prophesies is one of the hurdles that I, and any other seeker of the truth, need to deal with.

I have posted similar questions on other forums but no one has been able to demonstrate that they have been fulfilled. I had hoped for a different result here.

I answered one of your questions already, what are your thoughts on it?

I'm not sure which post you are referring to. Can you clarify?

In post #33 you said the following...
Of course there are still some prophecies yet to be fulfilled.
Is that the one?

Argy, I will take K4C's challenge to answer, to the best of the ability that God gives me, your questions. It won't be till tomorrow however as I've got to get some sleep.

Goodnight...

Thanks ECR... I know you're gifted with the gift of knowledge, that's why I referred Agry to you. I would help him but I'm at work right now at a group home for boys 12 to 17 as a live in staff. Once I'm at work I don't have access to my study aids in my laptop. Thanks again ECR for your servant's heart.

The bottom of #10 is where I answered one of your questions.
Your response was...
For example; in the New Testament the temple is not a literal building, but rather, God's new covenant people are called, the temple of God. So if you're looking for a literal temple to be built or rebuilt it won't be part of God's plan and you would have lost your faith for nothing.

Ezekiel 40-46 describes a building in intricate detail. It has nothing to do with a spiritual temple.

Please be patient with me... I just spent the last four hours answering the scriptures for question #1 and when I went to preview it, an error message came up and when I tried to go back to the message it was gone... my patience is being tried today... :prayer:

I will get back to it later but I have to run some errands now.

Ok, here we go again... I will be posting on each scripture given instead of the group.

Ezek 36:25-27

In this chapter we see God relaying to the prophet that He is going to restore Israel to the promised land and that they will come back into a right worship of Him. In verses 25-27 it does not say that there will be an end of sin but that He will cleanse (forgive) them for their past transgressions when they put away their sinful behaviour. No different than what happens for us when we are cleansed (forgiven) through Jesus.

Ezek 33

There was no specific verses cited so I will comment on the chapter itself.

In this chapter we see Ezekiel being charged with sounding the warning to Jeruselem to repent of their evil ways to stay the death and destruction coming upon them... obviously they didn't head the warning as we see in verse 21, that the city was attacked and many lost their lives.

Not seeing any indication here of an end of sin.

Ezek 37:23,24

There is sooo much to dig into with this chapter but I will focus on the two verses in question.

Again we see, as in Ezek 36, that God will cleanse them from their past sins (v23) as they do as God has asked (v24)

Again, no mention of an end of sin but a promise of forgiveness, just as we have.

Zeph 3:13,15

The language here in thsi chapter is directly related to Rev 18 and is speaking primarily of spiritual Babylon. While the description of the destruction of the literal Babylon was fulfilled in the beginning of this chapter, the primary focus is on spiritual Babylon. The remnant of Israel spoken of in verse 13 is refering to the 144,000 that will stand at the end just before Jesus comes. They have no iniquity or lying tongues or deceitfulness because they have been sealed as righteous and pure for they have overcome through the Holy Spirit as Jesus did. Reference 1 Peter 2:22 and Rev 14:5

A reference to an end of sin here but it is limited to the overcomers that stand waiting for Jesus' return.

Excellent insight!

Many times a simple mistranslation of a word can bring out wrong thoughts from a verse.

I'm looking forward to the rest of your insight.

Job 3:17

If you read through this chapter you will plainly see that Job is rightly refering to the grave/death as where he, and the rest of the dead will be tormented no more. Reference Psalm 146:4, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6

Isa 60:21

The subject of this chapter is God's church, the body of true believers. It seems to cover from the time of Christ to the new earth. So this prophesy was and is being fulfilled as it covers the age of the Christian church.

No real mention of an end of sin here although God does say He will bless them...

Jer 50:20

This is the description of the literal destruction of the once mighty city of Babylon. There is language in this chapter that ties in with the destruction of spiritual Babylon in Rev 18.

In verse 20 it is speaking both of the restoration of Israel as a nation under the Medes and Persians and also of spiritual Israel at the end when spiritual Babylon is destroyed. Notice in verse 20 that God is going to pardon Israel, not abolish sin, as was mentioned in both Ezekiel 36 and 37.

No mention of an end of sin here, just forgiveness. However, in the case of spiritual Israel, when babylon the great is fallen, God's people will be shortly sealed to face the time without a mediator.

So, this concludes the study of the verses supposedly refering to an end of sin. The only true end of sin will happen when the wicked, along with satan and his angels are consumed in the lake of fire outside the Holy city.

Ezek 36:25-27 says "And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." In other words they will not sin any longer.

Ezek 37:23,24

There is sooo much to dig into with this chapter but I will focus on the two verses in question.

Again we see, as in Ezek 36, that God will cleanse them from their past sins (v23) as they do as God has asked (v24)

Ezek 37:24 repeats the notion that the statutes shall be kept... "And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them"

Zeph 3:13,15

The language here in thsi chapter is directly related to Rev 18 and is speaking primarily of spiritual Babylon. There is no such thing. Nowhere in the OT does it say that the messiah shall come once, die and return a second time. Zeph 3:13,15 are clearly predicting the end of sin when the messiah arrives.

Zeph 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
Zeph 3:15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

Isa 60:21

It says all his people will be righteous. No sin. Get it?

Isa 60:21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
