Message for muslim Allah

My question, friend, is why? If Allah in Islam did exist, wouldn't you rather worship him? If you want the truth, wouldn't you rather be on the side of truth?

The god in Quran is different than the God in Bible. For example, multiple Quran verses stats that God is best of the deceivers(Qur'an 3:54, Qur'an 7:99, Qur'an 8:30, Qur'an 10:21 and more). Qur'an 3:54 And they cheated/deceived and God cheated/deceived, and God (is) the best (of) the cheaters/deceivers.

In Bible multiple verses stats God can't lie,
(Hebrews 6:18, Numbers 23:19 etc)
Titus 1:2 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

That's a bad translation. The word used in that verse is "l-mākirīna."

(Qur'an 3:54:6) l-mākirīna (of) the planners.

There is no legitimate/well accepted translation of the Qur'an that interprets the word "l-mākirīna" as deceiver. Here are some of the more popular English translations:

Yusuf Ali: Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.

Sahih International: And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.

Pickthall: And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters.

Shakir: And when those who disbelieved devised plans against you that they might confine you or slay you or drive you away; and they devised plans and Allah too had arranged a plan; and Allah is the best of planners.

Muhammad Sarwar: The unbelievers planned to imprison, murder or expel you (Muhammad) from your city. They make evil plans but God too plans and God's plans are the best.

Talal Itani Quran in English: They planned, and God planned; but God is the Best of planners.


In the context that this verse is used, it's telling the story of Jesus and how those who didn't believe Him were planning to kill Him, but God had another plan to protect Him from those people.

When Jesus sensed disbelief on their part, he said, “Who are my allies towards God?” The disciples said, “We are God’s allies; we have believed in God, and bear witness that we submit.”

“Our Lord, we have believed in what You have revealed, and we have followed the Messenger, so count us among the witnesses.”

They planned, and God planned; but God is the Best of planners.

God said, “O Jesus, I am terminating your life, and raising you to Me, and clearing you of those who disbelieve. And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return; then I will judge between you regarding what you were disputing. (Qur'an 3:52-55)

Here are translations of the words found in the other verses you listed.

(Qur'an 7:99:6) makra (from the) plan.
(Qur'an 8:30:2,11,12) yamkuru plotted; wayamkurūna and they were planning; wayamkuru and (also) was planning.
(Qur'an 8:30:16) l-mākirīna (of) the Planners.
(Qur'an 10:21:17) makran (in) planning.

Hello dcalling and Joseph.

May be Has God a huge hindsight on our thoughts
(see Isaiah 55, 9 :9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.), which keeps Him an infinite quantity of steps ahead of us.
Each step being a cause for the sinner to stumble, while God obviously doesn't.

I'd say, probably, both assuming He plans or He deceives, His intentions are made righteous, through His righteousness.

IMHO, it's against this righteousness that any deceiver deceives himself. It's only to that extent, one could think of Him as a planner or a deceiver
