Hi guys,

i need help at the moment guys, not for myself (well in theory it is but well ya know lol)

Over the last week or so my memory has been slowly been disappearing.....and well im scared for the ones i love. I told them that its all getting better. I lied. Infact its getting a heck of alot worse. I cant bare telling my family. Last time i told them all they took the mick out of me and it hurt big time. Im just scared of whats gunna happen. Espically about my darling angel. Shes been finding it really tough. And well im scared how shes gunna cope if i completely forget who she is. Ive already partly forgot her, and well yeh you can guess from there about how i feel.

Its pulling me down big time, and well i dont really know what to do anymore other than rely on God. So please can you join me in prayer for my friends and family if my memory does get worse.

hey you need to see a doctor,theres a condition of the brain that people sometimes suffer where theres rapid memory loss............please see your doctor...peace

Hi James,

Have you been diagnosed with anything or is this something that has just started for no reason. If its started on its own theres nothing to worry about. Your not going to forget Angel or who people are, your just having slight memory relapses, believe me I'm a counsellor. This is unless you have a diagnosis of something which I don't think you have. Are you going through any sort of stress at present, this could even mean you've just started college, or you have no job, problems at home, etc. You could just be worrying about this to much so it makes it seem worse, yes, its frigtening, but the more you worry the worse it seems. When under any stress, worry or even trauma can cause this. It will pass when you work out whats worrying you. Hopefully you don't, but do you drink a lot of alcohol, or smoke cannabis occassionally, we won't condemn you, if you do but this is also another reason for episodes of memory lapses. If you really are extremely worried and it does get worse in the near future, see your doctor. Remember I've only talked here if you HAVN'T been diagnosed with anything.

Lord I pray for James and ask you to heal his mind from these memory lapses, I pray you'll find the root of the problem so he doesn't need to worry. Amen

I have a weak form of epilepsy, its called Complex Partical Seizurs or how ever you spell it! lol

I have hardly drunk alcohol in the last two years! And as for Drugs i stay as far away from them as possible because im scared of what they will do to me lol.

I'm certainly praying for you. I partly understand how you feel, because I went through a sort of "phase" where I had hardly any memory, but it was in no aspect this bad. I will be praying for you in this situation b/c It's no fun losing memory.

Just trust and believe in God in healing over this. Also, you need to deny these things and tell the devil he's a liar, b/c professing these things will not help it out any.

Ok then I'll call you EJ, pretty cool aye!!!!!!!! Now you've updated it does make more sense, you have siezures, wether there weak or strong ones it will effect your memory, the type you have Complex Partial Siezures work on the unconscious mind, you may be sat down and your memory will just go, you may well stare into space for a few seconds also. Any type of seizure however bad it is brings memory loss for a time. This is because unconsciously you have no idea what you are doing when it happens. What does worry me though is the fact that you said before many call you for this, do they know you have this illness/disability, because thats what it is, and its not helping you if they are getting at you. If you have a regular specialist, go to your doctor and ask to see them again, just to put your mind at rest and also to check your siezures arn't getting worse.

Wow, hon, like njcl said you need to see a doctor. This problem sounds very serious because it isn't going away. The effect might be reversible with proper treatment which is a whole lot better than you losing it altogether. Please tell your family you need medical help and don't worry about their reaction, keep insisting until they understand how serious it is and how worried you are.

Heavenly Father, help Jamesw get medical help for his failing memory. Help his family recognize the immediate need for medical attention; open their hearts and their eyes that there is something wrong. Give him peace you are with him through this ordeal and will see to it this works out to your will. He needs your comfort, love and support right now so he can cope.
