Well there is a story in the bible where a neighbor had borrowed an axe from his neighbor. Well as he was in the water (fishing??) he dropped the ax and since it is heavy metal/steel it sank. So the man was full of sorrow and told it to Elisha (the prophet of God) who prayed and God heard and caused the axehead to float!!!

Sometimes that is how I am --sinking, falling and heavy laden that I feel like the axe. But God...who is almighty always lifts me up, lets me float just like the axe....hence...don't give up...hence...BATTLEAXE
