Meeting CF people...

Well...not exactly CF adventures.
they came from other websites mostly. (Granted I married one from this site and we have an adventure every day)
But...people are people. Just about the same everywhere. How they come across in the forums is sometimes a bit different than how they are when you meet them. (The reason for the phone conversations before hand)

all of the non-verbal communications can exist when face to face that usually say soooo much more than words typed on a screen.

In about 3 and a half years...I was thinking of freeing ourselves from this town. going visiting is going to be a major part of our lives. We are not sure of where we will go and who all we will see when we leave...we just know we are leaving. We are leaving the rest up to God on that one.

Yeah, I can understand that. You can't expect someone to be exactly like they are on a forum IRL.

Sounds interesting. There are a few people I know who have talked about spending time traveling. Have fun!

I am still around.

But, I used to post in the singles forum....now, six years later, I am back & married, so now posting in the married forum.

We're doing very well. IP is in the Air Force and has been for 3.5 years, we have a 2.5 year old daughter (holy cow!!), and I'm a SAHM.

Awwww, that is so great!! I love success stories!!! AFM, I am now married to an old high school friend (we connected thru facebook) and have been together for 4 years now (married 2 years). We used to live in AZ, but moved to TX to live with DH. He's a great step dad and ADORES my daughter.
When I was a single mom and hung around the singles group, DD was 8, now she is 14 and about to enter high school!!
Glad to see you still around & glad to be back!
