For what it's worth, If I were to meet any of you IRL, I'd want it to happen somewhere in public, with other people around. Friends and family would be aware of where I'm going, what I'm doing, when to expect me to return home etc. And I'm a guy who's nearly 6'2" and 200 lbs. For the most part, I like what I think I know about you folks, but better safe than sorry. This may sound like a big deal, but it really isn't. Just standard fare for meeting internet people for the first time. Plus, there are lots of fun things to do, not to mention good food to eat, in public places.
