Media (TV channels, etc.) as a tool of normalization for 'obscure' faiths

Did you mean to post that in this thread? I don't see how it is related to the OP, which is about media used by various faiths to normalize themselves before the public.

Yes I did mean to post here. Their media is a corruption of scriptures. Example: The word (cross) is not in the scriptures, but the word (stake) has been given the interpretation (cross) The CROSS is an ancient Pagan talisman.
Revelation 18:23
The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.

Quote add: This talisman features a true Latin cross, when folded, creates a cube; an ancient symbol of earthly authority.

How important is correct doctrine and a Godly lifestyle? I can show Christians what has been added to the bible, and they still will not repent.

Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
Revelation 9:21
Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
Revelation 16:9
They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
Revelation 16:11
and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

The closest thing in Lutheranism I can think of are a couple Youtube channels. Worldview Everlasting with Pastor Jonathan Fisk, which I have enjoyed now and then, though Fisk is certainly not going to be everyone's cup of tea; and I certainly don't agree with his views all the time (specifically when he chooses to talk politics or social issues). The other one would be Lutheran Satire, which can sometimes be hit or miss. The general point of the channels tend to be informational, though Lutheran Satire is also intended to be humorous, though I think it frequently gets into mean-spirited territory, so not always my cup of tea, but some decent stuff now and then.

Most anything Lutheran I see tends to be pretty dry and informational. Pastors with Youtube channels where they've recorded their Sunday School lessons or similar.

Lutheranism is funny though, we're pretty ubiquitous in places here in the United States, but it seems like besides the name, nobody actually knows anything about us other than that we are "kinda Catholic', that was certainly my experience growing up--and it certainly seems that way in my continued experience out and about, online and offline.

Lutheran Satire I am also familiar with, though I don't exactly keep up with it. I remember they had a video debunking the "Jesus is Isis" Zeitgeist-y YouTube trend a while ago. I thought that was pretty good.

I'm trying to think honestly concerning what if anything I know about Lutherans. I picture the average American Lutheran being of Scandinavian descent, living somewhere in the Midwest (probably Minnesota), and probably eating a lot of strange fish dishes. Religiously...ehhh...yeah, you guys are kinda Catholic. :D

Hmm. I guess I need to make my way over to Pastor Fisk's videos and educate myself.

A video that gets posted here on CF a lot, with St. Patrick talking the Trinity with a couple of short leprechaun-like guys is from Lutheran Satire:

Only videos I ever watched are pretty old (2010-2012 or about), and I would reiterate that he's definitely not for everyone.

Like the Orthodox, Lutherans are mostly portrayed as an ethnic religion.
