  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I don't get the point of the term "fun-loving." I like fun. Who doesn't like fun?

Apparently INTJs according to a lot of people.

The INTJ-ENFP pairing on the MBTI is arguably the most controversial pairing of all time, but I do think that INTJs tend to gravitate towards the ENFP since they're so different from themselves. Yet also similar in many ways since INTJ/ENFP have the same "make-up" in reverse order according to some MBTI commentary I read. Also, ENFPs are probably the most introverted of all the E types.

I am ENFP (although sometimes INFP)

EDIT: I just found out that my Mom (who is probably the best friend I'll ever have, we get long GREAT) is an INTJ. So yes, I think the INTJ-ENFP pairing has worked very well for years.

Yeah I thought yours was accurate, too. Just from looking at your posts here anyway. And GQChris' seemed accurate. (Looking at the descriptions at the bottom of the results, mainly.)

Thanks! I thought yours was accurate, in fact I think I had just said in Leo's thread that you seem like a caring and considerate guy, and that's what yours said. I thought that was pretty cool. I also thought the result for GQChris was accurate too. Shattered found a really good website, I'm impressed. ^_^

As I stated in another post, the MBTI has lost a lot of it's muster of late and is questioned regarding validity for psychology professionals.

It may give you a good read on your personality type or it may not, depending on different variables. When people retake the test at a later time, it has been shown, that in 50% of the cases, the personality type result, is different and this gives significant pause to many.

Not saying it is useless tool, just that the error rate is much higher than they claim.

I know that I get INTJ about 95% of the time on these quizzes (very rarely, I'll get ISTJ).

I took the official test a while ago and got INFP. On the test introversion was without a doubt, perceiving a little clear, intuition not clear, and feeling hardly visible. :p
I went through a hard time a few years ago where I felt like I was a completely different person then before due to hard times. My sister who is an INFJ pointed out the MBTI functions rather then just the 4 letters. I researched that for a while and became confident that I am INFP. The more I learned about cognitive functions versus just MBTI letters has helped me understand it better as well as helped me understand some people better.
One thing that some people get confused on I guess is thinking that MBTI is a "personality test" when it really is hardly a glimpse of who a person is. I think it is a useful tool for helping to understand others better and to help communicate better, but not everything you read about a myers briggs type will be accurate for everyone.

I took the enneagram thing a couple times and it typically is 5w6. Enneagram seems less scientifically measured from what I remember. But I feel that 5w6 fits me pretty well from what I've read.

I find this stuff interesting. :p

Some prayers from the great World Wide Web....

ISTJ:
Lord, help me to relax my focus on insignificant details, even though any of them may cause significant problems later. But let us begin this tomorrow at 8:31:04 am.
ISTP:
God, please help me to consider other people's feelings, even if most of them ARE excessively hypersensitive.
ESTP:
God help me to accept responsibility for my own actions, even though problems are usually NOT my fault.
ESTJ:
God, please help me to not try to RUN everything.
But, if You need some help, just ask.

ISFJ:
Lord, please help me to be more laid back and help me to do that EXACTLY correctly.
ISFP:
Lord, help me to stand up for my rights (if you don't mind my asking).
ESFP:
God help me to take things more seriously, especially jokes, parties, conversation and dancing.
ESFJ:
God give me the patience I need to deal with things more effectively, and I mean right NOW!
INFJ:
Lord. Please help me not to be so perfectionistic!
(Did I spell that correctly?)
INFP:
God, help me to finish everything I sta..
ENFP:
God, please help me to keep my mind on one...
Look a butterfly!
thing at a time.
ENFJ:
God help me to do only what I can, trusting you for all the rest. But would you mind putting that in writing?
INTJ:
Lord keep me open to others' ideas, WRONG though they may be.
INTP:
Lord, please help me to be a little less independent but in my own way, of course.
ENTP:
Lord, please help me follow our established procedures today. On second thought, I'll settle for a couple of minutes.
ENTJ:
Lord, help me slow downandnotrushthroughwhatIdo.
