CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So I have more great news! (finally lol) my best girlfriend came to visit this weekend and we had an amazing time and yesterday.....................she bought our family a new computer!!!!! I am beyond grateful and amazed and thankful etc etc etc. I was looking for a used one and my step son is coming to town this Friday so I was going to ask him to help me and she just decided to help me and take care of it for me and she would not take NO for an answer. I've known her for over 30 years and she is my life long friend and probably the ONLY person that knows mostly everything about me and loves me anyway and I am that person for her so....PRAISE THE LORD! Good news!

I started a new journal/book.. Your Best Life Yet.. with Joel Osteen.. really appropriate and I am doing it every day.. its hard to keep being positive as you move ahead.. but thankfully life is good.. and pay day tomorrow.. GOD bless to one and all..

Got a call last night. It's official! I got the job at Kohls for seasonal help doing ad setting. I'm a little nervous about the hours cuz she said it's either 8pm to 1am or 9pm to 2 or so am. Yikes! I'm gonna be a tired puppy, but I asked God if it was His will to let me have the job and if not I wouldn't get upset about it, and they called! I really could use the money too, so even though I will only be making 7.45 and hour still that's more than zero, so I am very excited. I start next Friday evening Oct 7th. Pray for God to give me the strength to do it. Lot's of people work 2 and 3 jobs so I know God can help me to do it too. Thanks in advance (TIA) for your prayers for me.

That's great Michelle, Ya, that does sound like its going to be tiring. I think in that situation, I'd like to work weekends, even tho I'd not have any days off.

While your praying, please pray for me GF. She has had one bad thing after another happen to her. Last night while getting stuff of the floor in a closet, 5 college books fell over the top shelf hitting her in the back of the head. Its been pretty painful.

ohhh of course brother I gladly pray.. its nice of you to share this request for her... its hard when things happen one after the other like that.. hope shes feeling better soon and things turn around..
