I just had a great time at my parents for 4 days. All but one of my sisters were there. Played golf twice with my brother-in-law. My sister and her husband own an airport and had a flyin. About 15 planes flew in. 2 80 year olds flew in their planes, camped and flew back home the next day.

I don't understand why they won't let her see him? That sounds very strange to me. SO sorry for you and your family to go thru this. I will put your family and especially your dad in my prayers.

His brain may have to have electric shock therapy.. sigh.. I didn't even think they did that sort of thing anymore..

He is completely different to the man he was not long ago.. not sure why he doesn't want to see my mother.. you can imagine it is horrific for her too.. being rejected like that.. not sure if he doesn't want to hurt her or have her see him like that? or he is blaming her which doesn't seem likely knowing him... but he will see me and my brother????

Yeah I didn't think they did shock treatment anymore either. Hard to say if it's him that is refusing the visit. Could be either of what you said. Your poor mom, (not to mention your dad too!) well really you're whole family. Keep us updated and I will continue to pray for him.
I remember when my husband had a seizure (1st one in his life) when he had cancer and when he came out of it he didn't know who we were! It was SO scary. It lasted for a couple of hours and then just in a blink he remembered us! SO thankful, cuz it's hard enough him being so sick and caring for him, but if he didn't know us on top of that? I don't think I could have taken that. I hope you get to see him soon and get some answers.

My brother-in-law beat me pretty good ... tho I did get par on 3 holes and he didn't get any. So I had I little consolation! lol

Only boy huh.. that would have made life interesting for you... all those girls to hog the bathrooms and such.. where did you come in the family order.. I was oldest in my family.. I have four in my family, one in heaven.. only one boy.. and the rest girls.. hee hee he was the favourite..

Ya, I was the oldest. I don't remember showering etc being a big deal. I was active in sports most seasons so took a shower at school. Other than that I was in and out of the bathroom pretty quick. Some places we lived we had a full bath and a partial bath, which helped a lot.

Most of us were spaced out so being the oldest I was out of the house before the girls all did the primping thing. lol

Thats interesting.. families spaced them out more years ago I think.. people consider mine spaced out too.. oldest being 20 and youngest 10.. though I had six babies altogether.. one in heaven now.. I will see him one day..

Its nice knowing a bit more about you..

I didn't like being the oldest.. I would have loved an older brother.. it was nice for me having a son first.. Sebastian is protective of his younger siblings.. actually he's turned out to be a fine young man.. so very kind and caring to his girlfriend.. I get a bit teary seeing that.. I was always afraid they would yell and scream like their dad was to me.. but praise GOD the boys seem to not have picked up that trait..

Today was a little sad for me.. being two years today since my husband left.. also the kids and I are ill.. headaches and tummy aches.. I felt a little teary today..

The weather here has been windy, cold and rainy... but we are in the last month of winter still..

Its amazing how long the process is to seperate. Sorry its a point. I'm over 4 yrs now. I don't really spend much time remembering the dates. Actually its its 4 yrs ago I first took my now GF golfing for our first date.

I told my mom when I was about 7ish that I wanted an older brother lol! I didn't understand and told my mom I would "wait" for him to get older than me ha ha. Then I grew up and found out (at least in my SIL's opinion) how aweful older brothers can be. They were thick as thieves, those two but also fought like cats and dogs being only 1 year apart. Sometimes I wish I had brothers and sisters but I have been blessed by good friends and BIL's and SIL's so God works it out. And I also (even though my husband had 3 kids before he met me) had a boy first, well I actually had 2 boys so God worked that out too. I am SO grateful that I have boys especially since I am having to raise them by myself. Although a girl might have helped me out with the housekeeping a bit more.....naw...I wouldn't change a thing!

I got to see my dad today maybe for five minutes.. its his birthday.. I took my youngest with me.. my mother was there also.. but wouldn't let us stay apparently my dad did not want any visitors.... first time I have seen him in ages.. we got a hug and kissed him.. and said happy birthday..

My mother even came to Mc Cafe with me and Zali.. she never does that.. lol..
