HI all,
MBM ... good job on installing that lock. I just did one last week myself. Perfectly good lock. Seems the previous owners didn't get the keys to the bank that forclosed on them.

I haven't got up all the crown molding yet. The cuts weren't as easy as I thought they would be. I've got the cuts figured out now, so I'll get right on it. But I didn't order enough so I have an another 8 foot peice on order. So I've been doing mostly painting and some electrical.

That's been there for awhile. The big hoopla lately is the little asterick in parenthesis and the SOP that states that they want only single people posting in here, unless you were single and then married before this? or something like that. Just some sort of segregation that I really don't think is necessary, but for some reason they think it is, I really don't know.

The owners have noticed te severe drop in clicks on
This site of late. Advertisers pay fees based upon clicks.

So it likely has something to do with some new strategy cooked up by some kind of focus group based market analyst or something like that.

I don't know about the marketing strategy thing because they are trying to segregate, not encourage and I think this area gets more hits than some except maybe the games and such, but no matter, I am single and unless all the online friends I enjoy talking with here leave I won't either. Also by insisting that you have to be "single" only makes people mad not glad if you read the threads about it and that would encourage another decrease in clicks, but anyway, who knows really.

Peacechild, no one is gonna kick you out honey. I miss you when you aren't here. And even though the paper says your still married, you really are single. I also think they may not want to encourage people that are married in extra marital relationships so that may be another reason.

I'm still around...just hit and miss, been studying

I believe subnetting has been giving me a good thrashing...amazing what you can forget in a few years of not using something LOL!!!

I've gotta agree...I'm not about to be celibate...
I don't necessarily have anything against monogamy...but celibacy + Gwenyfur = Stone Cold B....well you get the idea

On the updside I'm about 30 days from my divorce finally being final...
It's only taken 3 years ...
gotta love the court systems

I sure do miss y'all and our chats...I'll post a catch up sometime later tonight or tomorrow for everyone...it's been.....interesting...and yes...at one point I nearly did crawl into bed and stay there...(haha even witchess have their depressed and hurt moments)

I don't understand what "subnetting" is though. What are you studying, may I ask?
Glad your divorce is almost final. 3 years is a long time whew!
Even though I WAS married and am now a widow and wasn't a virgin when I did get married, I DO plan on being manogamous and celebate if/until I get married again, because that is what I believe the Bible says and I want to honor God in all I can. Makes it a tiny bit difficult at my age LOL to even find a man, let alone one that thinks like I do on the subject. I kinda feel like maybe only a widower would undertand my line of thinking, but whatever, no matter. God is in control so I'm good. What I like about coming here (in this thread anyway) is that even though we differ on things like faith, sex, etc. We can still be friends and have decent convos, ya know? And we don't try to "change" each other to our point of view. I know alot of people in real life that can't do that LOL. And I'm always curious what makes people tick, IDK why but that's how I'm made, I guess.
I still can't figure out the angle of the whole (*) thing in the singles section, but whatever....it doesn't change me so ?

Ahh, well, being owned also means they can take actions and not explain themselves.

I'm thankful they don't stricky monitor this part of the message board. Guess they aren't getting too many complains.

I suppose I really oughta put in an appearance here once in a while. It seems the (only*) has stirred up dust more than anything else, and I can think of few things less enforceable anyway. It's entirely dependent on the honor system to begin with. Not that I think real believing Christians would lie about their marital status, but these forums are open to all who become members and you never know the nefarious schemes of some folk-- Christian or not.

If taken strictly, the only place I would be allowed to post here would be in the "Divorced" section of the "Married" subforums. Anybody who's been there recently will get the idea rather quickly that you don't want to spend a lot of time there, it's a bit of a downer (no surprise, divorce being what it is). Of course, that would also require the powers-that-be here to institute an icon reflecting the divorced status (currently there is no such icon which is why I don't display one) and to require us to display status icons (currently no such requirement).

(Kicks away soapbox, I've stirred up enough trouble for the moment-- and maybe given somebody a few most regrettable ideas.)
