Thanks for the kind words, it just gets frustrating. The silly "Do you have a crush on anyone" threads have like a million posts, why IDK but apparently ALOT of people have crushes lol. And then other threads that actually could be good conversing threads just sit there with little to no posts. Anyway that thread now has 4 count them.....1,2,3,4, 4 posts by my dearest friends lol. Oh well Que Sera Sera!!! whatever will be will be, the future not ours to see Que Sera Sera!!! LOL

Some days I loathe coming to this forum (not this thread ok, the site in general). SO hard to get responses on threads. Oh well what's a girl to do, besides complain? lol Don't need any darn responses anyway, so there. I just get frustrated. Someone starts a silly thread "whats your second favorite color?" and the board goes wild. I start a thread and get 14 views and NO replies....that's fine...just fine....over and out.

Sometimes I'm afraid to respond to a thread because my thoughts aren't always helpful, or someone doesn't like my response; so I lurk a lot and post only if I think I won't be rebuffed to badly.

Alot of people on CF just fool around.. not really get to deep into things.. and they only post to people they tend to know.. how many times have I posted and people respond to every other post but mine

Don't feel too bad. I've had two threads locked. One went off the rails and was locked for that reason, the other one I fully expected to have a short shelf-life (it barely lasted two hours before being locked). Both of those threads were on another system (not CF).

Suspect? c'mon really? I for one, would LOVE to hear what a guy my age would think about this. Men have dress issues too. Like guys that are losing their hair and trying to act like they still have it either with comb overs or wearing it long cuz that part will grow even though they are almost completely bald on top. How about guys that dont change their belt size even though they have a really big "shed" they are carrying around with them so they just wear their belt under their waist lol? Or guys that wear shirts where their bellies stick out? I wouldn't say it's a "female thread". Especially since I'm the OP lol.

Sometimes it is hard to think of things to speak about.. or add to what other people are saying.. but I AM trying.. LOL.. at least there are some posting here.. I think once you start writing it gets easier..

Today I went for a lovely long walk.. I am toning up some.. and feeling better about myself.. I like a single dad at our church.. facebook with him.. GOD actually laid him on my heart yesterday so I prayed.. and then told him that I was praying.. he was struggling and really valued the prayers.. so that was rather exciting..

I have rarely talked in person.. but via face book we have a bit.. he admires my faith.. so I have been able to encourage him.. anyhow it is kinda exciting to feel the kind of feelings you get when you admire someone of the opposite sex.. and I wonder as I let go of my husband because it is so hard to just keep believing for restoration and get nothing back.. just what GOD has in store for me..

I hear ya Peacechild. It's so hard sometimes to really know what God wants us to do. And I say that to God sometimes. I say "OK God, what do you want from me? what do you want me to do?" Don't really hear any clear answers.....yet lol...

I asked my youngest son the other day, "Do you see my getting married again, or do you see my staying single?" He said "whatever you want" neither of us could visualize either situation because we both felt it would be OK either way. He said if you want to you could get married again, or stay single. I just am really not sure. I am OK for the most part about being single, but IDK....it would be nice not to have to figure it all out alone, but then again, I'm not alone, I have Jesus. This is the circle I go round and round and round.......

I was thinking about those that look for the Holy Spirit to lead them in everything they do. Then I thought about Adam and Eve in the garden. God meet with them every evening ... but apparently God let them chose at least some of what they were going to do the rest of the day. So it seems to me that being lead by God is doing what God tells us to do and the rest of the time do what we want to do with the idea of bringing glory to God in what we chose to do.

I was thinking about those that look for the Holy Spirit to lead them in everything they do. Then I thought about Adam and Eve in the garden. God meet with them every evening ... but apparently God let them chose at least some of what they were going to do the rest of the day. So it seems to me that being lead by God is doing what God tells us to do and the rest of the time do what we want to do with the idea of bringing glory to God in what we chose to do.

Sometimes I think free will is highly overrated. It would be nice to always be in God's will and have His wisdom and understanding. In the near future I'm going to have to make some serious decisions about the direction of my life as a working widow (do I stay where I am or move to Arizona or Texas?, etc.). Right now I'm not getting any clear signals, so I feel like I'm trusting blindly in God; which of course is ok by me...

It is good you also have your children to talk too.. how many don't talk to their kids!!!!

GOD is about enjoyment alot of the time.. did not JESUS say.. HE came to give us life and not just life but abundant life.. your hikes would be testimony to the goodness of GOD as you enjoy stretching and testing your body that GOD wonderfully created you to live in.. and also the world around you.. I bet you can really feel GOD so much in places like that too.. my mother says when she is in nature she is so much more aware of GOD..

OK I'm a little perturbed at CF right now. I go to the User CP this morning and there are all the threads I subscribe to that have comments. So I click on ONE and when I come back...all of a sudden it says I have no subscribed threads!!! So I have to click to view all and then go to each one I haven't read yet and find where I left off cuz since it didn't pull up the list the second time I can't click on the little arrow of where I last read grrrrrrrrr! I even closed completely out and came back in....nothin!!!! Oh well end rant.....how's your day going?

PC - I'd say I'm like your mother in that I think about God more and express my thankfulness more when I'm hiking. Its only occasionally that I can say I feel God.

you are so SILLY! if you post in a thread you are subscribed and if you go to "user CP" on the blue bar it "should" pull up the threads that you have posted in. It also has your reputation status (like when people like what you've posted)
