I am against it because it is different than car insurance. If I don't want to pay car insurance I can choose to not own a car, but you can't do that with health insurance and for people like me that rarely go to the Dr unless we are dying it's ludicrous that they can REQUIRE me to have insurance!

Actually you don't have to pay if you just choose not to live.

(My car is almost as optional as choosing not to live...the second car is the "luxury" that gets my kids to and from school.)

Haha! I don't believe in suicide, but I am ready to go if God calls me, is he calling me?

Well, I had a date with the youngest lady I've been hanging out with. About a month ago we started verbalizing about our attraction towards each other. She has decided that our differences don't work for her so we will not be getting together. We'll just see each other at events. Was a nice 5 months.

Well from recent conversation, it sounds like you have many options anyway and you still have her as a friend so...

Yup ... she used to attend church for 15 years and found it meaningful. Has no grip with church. but she found over a year that her heart was telling her to leave and go on a journey. Which she is on right now. One of the things was that she didn't know what she wanted. I didn't get to share as much about my relationship with God as I'd hoped to, but I hope she comes back to me for a talk about that at some point in time. That's my prayer.

So she's doing sort of a Eat, Love, Pray thing?

I meet her thru some of the personal growth stuff going on around Boston. The thing that seems to be the most meaningful for her right now is the sweat lodge. She is now the fire person and seems to be having some meaningful experiences that are helping her know herself. So she is in another transition right now.

I sweat enough just going outside here. I can't imagine doing a sweat lodge thing but more power to her

So yesterday I FINALLY got the first letter I sent my son BACK in the mail. They marked it "ATTEMPTED - NOT KNOWN" so I am going to re-send it to my son so he knows his momma DID really write! I know he believes me but I wanted him to get the card at some point. I found the letter I wrote in my recycle bin on the computer so I re-printed it and sent it to him the other day, but now he can have the card too!
