CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, sometimes we find ourselves in a place where there is nothing we can do to rectify or ameliorate a situation. This is then that we need to realize that we are not alone and that we need to trust Him. In fact, this is the place God likes to put us so that the only action we can take is to hand Him the reins (Psalms 55:22; 1 Peter 5:7) and let Him take care of our situation.

Yes, God knows what hardship we are facing and He wants to help us. We have to allow Him to help us, His way, of course.

Geez, it's very quiet around here these days. For what it's worth, I'm done Christmas shopping and wrapping. Well I still have to get a few stocking stuffers but....
Over and relieved that my extra son moved out. Seems his friend is not coming around as much either, so I guess my food will last longer so that's a good thing.
My step daughter is trying to work things out with her husband. When I hear about people having difficulty in relationships it makes me glad I'm not in one lol. The other side of that is that it makes me kind of angry too that THEY don't realize what they have. That at least they have somebody! Not a perfect somebody, but not a loser either.
So Praise the Lord everyone!

I just haven't been around I am sorry... glad you've got all that done have not even started.. I am not feeling Christmassy at all maybe put the tree up tonight because Zali my daughter wants too.. your a beautiful friend Michelle both here and at face book..
