  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Matt. 24:31 is speaking of the time at the end of the Tribulation (still future).

At that time God will again be dealing with Israel as His special/favorite people (Israel).

(The Church, the Body of Christ, Jew and Gentile on equal footing, without distinction, and not under the Law will have already been raptured to heaven prior to the events mentioned in the book of the Revelation.)

Israel has always been God's elect. They were elected to be the light to the Gentiles. Israel will fulfill that mission during the Tribulation period. The will bring the "gospel of the kingdom" to the entire world prior to the coming of the end. They are the sealed 144,000 mentioned in Rev. 7:4-8, and their fruit is mentioned in vs.9-14

You're just adding to the word of God. The church brings the gospel of the kingdom to the entire world not the Jews.

Jews that believe in Christ remain on the olive tree. Jews that are converted to Christianity are regrafted to the olive tree and every Gentile believer is grafted to the olive tree.

The Church, the Body of Christ, is not commissioned to preach "the gospel of the kingdom" to the entire world. That commission was to the disciples of Jesus.

Our commission is to preach Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, i.e. the gospel of the Grace of God, which was kept secret since the world began, until revealed to the Apostle Paul (Rom. 16:25).

Our greater commission is found in Eph. 3:9 and 2 Cor. 5:18-20.

Israel, as a nation, is still in the "slumbering eyes" condition. The will again preach "the gospel of the kingdom" after the rapture of the Church, the Body of Christ, during the events of the Tribulation.

I do appreciate that.

Don't call me in error but learn what these two verses mean

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING covenant,

And what about this, Mr. Failed Plan A, Activate Plan B redemptive plans:

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

See there was never two plans!

Again, here what about this one:

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah BE CUT OFF, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

CUT OFF = KILLED!!!!!!

Please show me where you got these scripture verses, then explain them to me in context.

I'm still in the learning mode.

I would rather be right and walk alone, then follow the crown that is in error.

Yes they are a remnant of Jews who have come to a saving faith in Christ , however many Gentiles will come into the faith after the tribulation is over . I believe these 'elect' people will be gathered from all over the world at that time by Jesus himself. He will separate the sheep from the goats( righteous and wicked) those who accepted Him and those who did not. Matt 25:31-46. Christ will then set up His 1000 year reign.

The elect in this particular passage can not be the church, because it comes back with Christ to the earth after being caught up to meet Him before the tribulation period. 1 thes 4:16-18

And what about this, Mr. Failed Plan A, Activate Plan B redemptive plans:

This is pure libel, which is defined as a false accusation made with intent to destroy someone's character or reputation.

It has already been explained to you that dispensationalists most certanly do not believe in a "Failed Plan A, Activate Plan B" concept. Dispensationalists know that both the age of law and the age of grace were part of the grand overall plan from the very beginning.

This has already been explained to you in exceedingly clear terms. So your false accusation here goes even beyond simple libel. For libel is still libel even if the liar did not know that the accusation was false. But when he knows it, the libel becomes aggravated libel.

All to many don't understand that the church did not begin in the new testament. Thus we have these statements about something which is not true.

The church began with prophets like Enoch and Elijah, Moses and Noah. How is it that this is so you ask. Ask yourself what constitutes the church. The church is founded on faith which is the gospel message. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Too many fail to realize that those who come with Christ were already dead as attested to those who reign with Him for the thousand years who come out of the tribulation and did not bow to Satan, thus they are killed for Gods sake. Stop trying to add things to the scripture like those who come with Him were Raptured. Not so. If you don't believe what I have said go look at the book of Revelation chapter 6 verses 9 through 11. There are already saints in heaven even as I write this so why believe this false teaching. It is one of the reasons there will come a falling away when it doesn't happen as so many believe. The elect are the church through all ages because God has chosen them from the foundation of the world just as he did Christ according to their faith.

One last note to put the nail in the coffin is this verse from Matt:

Mat 24:22 "And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.
The elect is still here in the tribulation whether you believe it or not. It is in the word spoken by Christ himself.

The church began at Pentecost and will conclude at the rapture.

However, the church will be in heaven as Jesus bride and will come back with Him after the 7 year tribulation period, to rule and reign with Him for the 1000 years on earth .

The church began in the Old testament but was hidden from the masses until the advent of Christ. This is confirmed in these two verses from Exodus;

Exo 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Exo 6:4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

Not only does he confirm that the church was hidden from them but that he also confirmed the covenant calling of the church to them. Then look at the calling of Israel and the church;

Exo 19:5 ‘Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

This was the calling of Israel.

Here is the calling of the church;

1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

The church may have been a mystery in the past but is now made known to his people who should be able to recognize it's origins from and in the Old testament. There are saints, church members already in heaven even if you only look at it from the beginning of the church to now. So why would God need to rapture more to come back with him.
The logistics and logic of that thinking is skewed. Stop listening to these pipe dreams and hear what the spirit has said.

The church began at Pentecost and will conclude at the rapture.

Actually there two churches talked about in the New Testament. If you search the scriptures with an open mind, you will see the church that Christ started, and the one that was revealed to Paul when Jesus revealed the mystery of the Gospel of Grace to him at about and after chapter 9 in the book of Acts.

In Mat 4:23, 9:35, 24:14, and in Mark 1:14-15 we find that Jesus was preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, thus the beginning of the Kingdom Church. In Acts 2-41 we see..."and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." These twelve Apostles knew no other Gospel than the Gospel of the Kingdom. So they were added to the Kingdom Church. These twelve Apostles continued preaching this same Gospel of the Kingdom through out the rest of their lives. They were commissioned by Jesus to preach this Gospel and no other, and they did.

The Church the Body of Christ was a mystery hid in the mind if God from the beginning of time. It was not revealed to anyone, anywhere, at anytime until it was revealed to Saul of Tarsas by Jesus in or after chapter 9 of the book of Acts. So the three thousand that were added in Acts 2:41 were not added to the Church the Body of Christ. They were added to the Kingdom Church. The Apostle Paul was the first in the Church the Body of Christ.

Go back and diligently study with an open mind the four Gospels, Acts, and all the epistles of Paul. The truth of what I am saying is in them. Set aside all that you have heard and all that you know, start fresh with a fresh out look, you will learn a lot more if you do.
