I don't know in what way you are referring to, but I must say I love Matchbox Twenty. I have liked them since they came out with "Push" and I am still a loyal fan. I even own Rob Thomas' new cd, and I quite enjoy that. So, I say they are way better than "okay."

Now, if you were asking "Is it okay for a christian to listen to Matchbox Twenty?" I can't answer that question for you. That is a personal matter. Whatever God has called you to restrain from is your knowledge.

Their earlier stuff was ok. Not a huge fan of Rob's new song though.... He is trying to be all pop star ish... even the video is silly...

Well, from a fellow musicians standpoint, all the guys in Matchbox 20 are extrememly talented and proficient at their respective instruments.

But I hate their music...

Matchbox 20 is okay-I have their Mad Season LP, but they're not the greatest. COLDPLAY is the greatest band out now!

Matchbox 20 is definitely one of my favorite bands of all time. Their earlier stuff is a lot better than some of their recent songs. Their do have a few bad words in thier songs, but not very often at all. If you have never heard any of thier music i would recommend listening to them. Push, Long Day, and 3 am are some of my favorites.

If you're looking for some decent top 40 pop rock, then Matchbox 20 is your band. I have to say I really liked "Disease" but the band itself is only okay. I do, however hate Rob Thomas going solo. I hate that new song of his. I also hate his new Justin Timberlake haircut lol.

I play alot of songs from their first album on my guitar, but the new stuff doesn't cut it for me. I think Rob has a outstanding vocal range also.

Matchbox Twenty is one of my favorite bands, I have always liked them. But I do agree with what has been said about their old stuff being better than the newer.
