Hello Everyone,

Here are three very good sites to learn about the incompatibility of Freemasonry and biblical Christianity.

The Order of Former Freemasons

Ex-Masons for Jesus

Ephesians 5:11

As a former 32 degree Mason myself, please feel free to ask me any questions. I do not come here very often, so if I do not reply soon, please be patient. Otherwise, feel free to email me at the address in my profile.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas to you all!

Mike

I've been reading the first site. It is very well organized. It really breaks down bit by bit (the "key issues") what freemasonry is.

In my experience of churches, which I admit is limited, there is a feature called a glass ceiling. Everything looks fine, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from going any further.

An elder who says 'no' to a gospel event again and again.
A treasurer who says 'no' to a gift God wants you to make
A deacon who says 'no' to a praise meeting, again and again.
The former pastor who exerts influence to stop a visiting speaker praying for the sick/ oppressed again and again
The pastor who stifles spiritual gifts in the church

This individual has the church on a leash. Often this restraining influence turns out to be a FM. Hence a glass ceiling for the church. Its growth has been stopped, it will stagnate.

FMs are respectable people, they often are awarded positions in the church because of their respectability. Subconsciously or consciously a FM in leadership exerts a restraining influence, putting the brakes on the church.
