well none of us worship Mary
we pray to her, but that means we talk to her
I do not really see Protestants calling her blessed all that much
it seems that they drag her out around Christmas and then ignore or demean her rest of the year
prayer IS worship. that is the thing I am trying to tell you all.

Awesome! You can begin by rejecting "salvation by faith alone" which directly contradicts the inspired word of God.

Great! I can suggest a few good stores where you can buy a crucifix.

But why are objects needed?

GOOD point. all we NEED is Christ. it aint by objects we cast out demons.
ITS BY THE SPIRIT ,which is unseen. like them jews of sceva found out.
I need no object.............I have the ONLY OBJECT of our faith needed. CHRIST . amen.

Exactly , their Faith is in the OBJECT,
not the Creator. it is IDOLARTY. me, all I need Is Christ
and shall make no image of anything which is seen. Not in heaven, not in earth.
my faith is in CHRIST alone, my TRUST is in Christ alone.
HE is all we need. I repeat with joy , HE IS all WE NEED.................saint beloved, I love ya and praise the Lord.

I can see how these little rituals can keep God on your mind but how easy they could take over we could become like the Pharisees focusing in the wrong things. Breaking the first commabdment ?

Yeah. It can take a little while to get used to. It freaked me out a bit at first, too.

Says who? How do you get to dictate what is and is not 'worship'?

But why are objects needed?
When people get married they exchange rings, white dresses and flowers
All this stuff has symbolism
Or a sports game
Team colors and chants
Or formal military conduct or courtroom procedures
People crave symbolism and ritual
Why would God make us like that only to deny it?

But what about all the OT stuff in the promise land and the 1st commandment?

We have to remember who Mary is she was a god Bearer not God himself and as we asked her friends to pray for us we can ask her to pray for us. In the Eastern Orthodox prayers to Mary they identify Christ as Mary is God as well as our God. I'm a total screwup and can use all the prayers I can get, just because we talk to somebody just not mean we worship them. Worship is for God Alone

In protestantism they say unbelievers are spiritually dead so with that logic believers shouldn't talk to unbelievers so in a similar way are you saying every believer who has died bodily is still alive in spirit and so one sided talking is still possible and no different?

Why would they remove this?

If prayer isn't worship what is it?
