You have left Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Also, scripture. What you do away with is man made doctrine.
99% of what you believe is man made doctrine. Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, and Melancthon to be exact.

That's just an opinion of my faith it doesn't make that truth because you don't know me or my heart like God does and I don't even know my heart to know what I fully believe myself.

I do know my belief in praying to the One true living God comes from Scriptures not Luther or Calvin.

So if I said to you as an identifying catholic that my opinion is that 99% of the time you place trust in tradition over Scripture that too would be just an opinion it doesn't make it true because I don't know you like God does so how can we presume to know each other and judge what and who is true?

Some of the earliest prayers asking for the dead to pray for us, dates in the late second century, on the catacombs paintings. Early Evidence for the Veneration of the Saints - Orthodox Reformed Bridge
One can cite even earlier evidence...that which Paul pens in the Epistles...to show that all kinds of false doctrine was about then already. This reveals that one trusts entirely on the Word as a Lamp to our feet even in very dark places. Why go to the catacomb paintings for your Truth, we have the Word of God? One might say that searching for Truth among the catacombs is quite indicative...searching for Truth among the dead. God's Word however is not dead.

Maybe not. I believe what I have read in the Bible, furthermore what God has taught me through acting on what I read and the changes that brings.

I pray before Church and sermons to be protected from any errors in a sermon. Sermons are too often from men and man fails. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me forget what isn't of God. I will be at fault in some of my beliefs but I trust the Lord to teach everything He needs to teach. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

So I try not to draw my beliefs from the church but from the Lord Himself.

Not scripture supported.
I have to ask: in your understanding, where did the Scriptures that we have come from? Who codified them and decided which were inspired and which weren't?

SO MUCH EFFORT IS WASTED ON VALIDATING OUR FAITH BY INVALIDATING OTHERS WE SHOULD BE OVER THIS BY NOW.

Same here I've never even read works by the men listed I go by the Bible not by man and when I do read men's works in commentaries I check it against Scripture.

You would not even know what the Bible is without going outside of it. What book of the New Testament tells you which 27 writings are the inspired word of God, and which writings are not?

This makes no sense to me whatsoever.
God promised to preserve His Word and all of Scripture is His Word.
Not authored or decided by man alone but by God. If you deny that you tread on damned ground.

If you only go by the Bible, then tell me, what book of the Bible states that the specific 27 books of the New Testament are the inspired word of God?

I take it you also have to discount a lot of opinion in commentaries as not backed up by the verse? Or is that because I use google as a way to check commentaries and we get lists of different takes on a given verse. I believe the Holy Spirit is the best tool as to how to interpret and a grasp of what is said in many other related verses. ?

I go by Jesus fulfilling the OT in the NT being the only proof I need that the NT is validated and considered Scripture and profitable for teaching. Jesus is God's word. I can't go outside of that without damning myself. I don't need to find a 'fact' or a 'specific sentence or book title' as a reason to believe.
