  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

When she hits her teens, come back and tell us about it. :D

Been there done that.

That being said, the reward for having children, is the grandchildren they give you.

Grandchildren are so much more fun compared to having children.

My two grandsons are a blessing. :)

Okay, so we've been legally married for almost 21 years. It'll be 21 this Sept. We've been married in the Church for 15 years. We got married that way on the Ester Vigil of 94' so.... I don't know what's my anniversary. Sept 17...? April, I think it's the 4th, not sure, or on the Easter vigil?

Personally, I would try and milk both out of the year. :D

My parents have been married 65 years.

Wow, that's great. Unless I miss someone, that make you and Gail the leader...with D'Ann and Bob coming in second....in the longest marriage camp.

:holy:

I keep him, and he best know that. :D
Seriously, EG, it is a hard job being married. But sometimes it has rewards...

He isn't Catholic tho...[yet] :p
lol

Wow, some really seasoned vets at this marriage business.

I also acquired chickens BUT i think the rooster is no more, and i dont know if having a rooster around causes hens to lay eggs or what [whadda want, i am a city girl] anyway - the hens havent been laying eggs that i know of...

SOmehow i have to figure out how to put together a decent coop - and pen it in, these critters go everywhere and we got cats that might find them to be tender vittles. And a dog. Not sure he would do anything to them, but i dont know.

So far the biggest challenge has been feeding the newts my daughter found.
I need more meal worms. It was cool when i bot rice at the store and i got free meal worms and used the rice for chicken feed.
Normally i would have been grossed out.

What or where is the best causal date you have gone on with your husband/wife? I am not talking getting all gussied up either. I am talking casual, and relatively inexpensive, just having fun. Or what would you like to do.

Is it a picnic in your living room, camping in the back yard, see what I am getting at....

What I would like to do some day is, take a small picnic blanket, blanket, and go for a walk in the park, sit under a tree, and read a book out loud to each other. Preferably a spiritual book.
