BTW, my sixth anniversary is this Sunday!!!! I still feel like it was just yesterday!

Bob and I celebrated our 28th anniversary last March.

What I love about the OBOB is that you'll find there are a lot of marriages that last forever! (or it seems like that).

You know what I think helps..........being friends first. My husband and I were friends for 18 years before we even started dating back in 2000.

Cool! Best wishes on your sixth....and it still fills like just yesterday to me too, even after 24 years, and on the other hand it fills like all my life(in a good way)....guess it's a paradox.

I had to call my poor hubby home from work, our water well went out. I have about a 100 chickens and 20 dogs to water. Sheesh....right in the middle of summer. Luckly not all of the chicken pens needed water, but I was having to scrounge around looking for rainwater that had collected in varies of places for a couple of pens. Good thing it rain yesterday....phew.

I think being equally yoked is God's blessing.
I'm not trying to paint a rosy picture for our singles out there. Marriage takes commitment and dedication, not only to your spouse, but to ones self. Being able to resolve conflict without carrying baggage,etc takes patience and lots of love and compromise...........but the rewards are tremendous.

The eggs are great! My turkey is laying eggs again, she hatched out a clutch of about 14 little poults in May...and she started laying again. We have been collecting them this time, they are like duck eggs and great to bake with.

Yeah, we both were surprised when we realized it's been 15 years. We were slackers too, it took six years of courting before I finally asked her to marry me. So, that's 21 altogether.
