I play rugby and mixed lacrosse. I bash the drum kit rather effectively. I listen to lots of music. I play cards and various other cool games and I drink beer with friends.sb573 said:What do you do for fun?
Subconciously it's probably blue. 99% of my clothes are some shade of blue and I have to make a concious effort to try and buy clothes of a different colour. I try not to have favourites thoughsb573 said:Whats your fave colour
Very dark brown, bordering on black.sb573 said:What colour hair do you have?
I try not to have favourites but I like: Coupling, Green Wing, Scrubs, Spooks, Hustle to name a few. I don't watch T.V. much anymore though.sb573 said:What is your fave tv show?
Not upset, just disappointed.Markus6 said:Are you upset that no one is asking you questions?
I didn't think I was but then I am answering my own questionsMarkus6 said:Are you really as weird as you've managed to come across in just 3 posts?
.I'm pretty useful at poker though me and my friends don't play that much. When we were meant to be revising we play bloke (censored name for the game because all blokes are *word that questions your parentage*), contract whist and black lady so much that we are probably the best in the world (though I'm no better than they are).sb573 said:what card game are you the best at?
No idea, let me think about that one.sb573 said:what is your biggest fear

On a scale from 1 to majorly annoyed I'm probably only a 3.5.sb573 said:Are you getting annoyed at my questions yet?

An interesting question.what is the nicest thing anyone could present you with on CF?
Slightly long story:Why did you move to Texas, of all places?
Slightly long story:
In my first year of university I won an award with a company. As part of that award they gave me vacation placements in different offices of theirs around the world each summer. My first summer I spent two months in Abu Dhabi, the second summer I spent two months in Houston and the third I spent two months in Singapore. When I graduated they asked me which office I wanted to work in and of the ones I have visited, mostly due to the friends I'd made at my church there, I chose Houston. I had also met a girl there and we had kept in touch so she might have had something to do with it though I tried to convince myself that she didn't and we broke up a few months after I moved there anyway.
Unfortunately there wasn't much heartache on my part, mostly just relief.I see.
That sounds like good reasons.
I'm sorry you broke up; heartache sucks.
So, how long have you been living here and do plan on staying?

I have been here nearly 16 months. I have a visa for another 3 years and have no plans to leave yet though I want to get a new job so we'll see what happens. Long, LONG term I think I want to make my home in England.
I do get quite a bit of that. Most recently when trying to apply for an identity card for work. I couple of funny stories:So, are girls beating down your door trying to get you to go out with them or what?"I loooooooooooooove your accent, Markus."
They do marine warranty and offshore engineering. I work for the part of the company that does detailed design of oil rigs.Okay, seriously: what sort of company do you work for?
English style cask ale, which I miss a lot. Second place would probably be Trappist Ale which is also the most holy kind of beer. Fortunately there is a lot of good beer in America (just the more popular stuff is awful). I like pretty much everything St Arnold's, the local brewery, produce and they do a cask ale tooWhat is your favorite kind of beer?
I was born in York (the original) and I love the place! I was brought up in Ossett (near Wakefield) and my parents now live in Cleckheaton (near Bradford) but home is probably Houston now!Where's your hometown?
I saw them at Christmas and it was great. It's probably about twice a year right now. We're meeting up in New York this summerDo you get to see your parents very often?

One sister. How many siblings do you have?
I'm not sure. I think I might be scared someone will recognise me, report me to my church and get me excommunicated as a heretic. Why don't you have a photo up?
Unfortunately entertainment is all I can provide as there is someone who would have a serious issue with me going out with a girl (I was single when I started this thread I swear!)

Over 5 months. Valentine's day will be exactly 6 months since our first date.lol! How long have you been dating this lady now?
Rock! My first love and still my favourite band is Led Zeppelin and I like a lot of old stuff. For my birthday I got the new albums by Coldplay, Keane, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers and Snow Patrol. And, LOL about the photo.
What kind of music do you like?
I did one this year for a friends birthday. We got really lost on the first clue because my friend who was organising it didn't know the difference between a football (soccer) pitch and a rugby pitch.Have you ever been on a scavenger hunt?
