Of course, not saying your opinion is wrong as to many others take on "what the mark of the beast is" but it's good to be alert at least be mindful and open about different views. When the time comes we will know

I have heard that the anti-christ is the Pope in Vatican. The ten kingdoms have already taken place by the pope(since they control most christian faiths now). Now the Pope is trying to make it mandatory for Sunday to be the day of worship as well. The mark of the beast is suppose to be a National Real ID Act card. It actually has a symbol representing the beast. If you dont know about the card, look it up. It has a chip in the card and has all your credit card info, name, DOB, criminal history, etc..... It will be the only way to buy/sell and even get on an airplane. Cash will no longer be used, just this card. Its a crazy idea. It was suppose to be past in the US in 2007. Then delayed to March 2011. Yet it got delayed again. My guess is that its coming soon. I dont think I will be accepting this card.

This is just what I heard, not my conclusions. But it does make sense on how this could be the mark. It also mentioned the right hand or forhead. I believe your forhead symbolizes your ability to accept or reject the mark. And your right hand is symbolizes the buy/sell.

I watched a video some time ago and I believe it was posted here somewhere. Explaining what the mark of the beast is and that it's where the Vatican (Pope) defied God's commandment to keep the Sabbath Holy (Saturday) and changed it to Sunday and he said that this will be enforced again, and if you do not follow this enforcement you will be killed. That's the other view which I believe to be true about the mark of the beast.

This scripture can be taken many ways as well. The difference here and Revelations is characters and your faith. Also, it will be used to buy/sell. I dont see how a spiritual mark will be used to buy/sell?

You have to remember that Satan uses this earth as a playground. He uses earthly things to tempt us, persuade us, etc... So if were talking about a mark on the hand and/or forehead with the number 666, Im gonna take it literal. He claims the world, his. So why wouldnt he use a chip, or national card with all our information, or something like that? Thats all he has to work with to control us and force us to do something. This Real Act Card is pretty scary thing. Especially the fact that people are having a huge debate about this. It keeps getting moved back to be released in the US. I just read today that their putting one final law sometime this year about the card, and expects to release in 2013. If that is the mark, and is released in 2013, then Id say we havent got much time left here. The fact that it keeps getting delayed could be Satan trying to get his mark on earth and God delaying it because its not time.

To be honest, I dont know. I can on speculate. I honestly do not care what the mark is or the antichrist is. It seems to take me away from learning about God. If the antichrist is here and the mark is made known, then God will let me know so I dont take the mark since God protects His people during this time. I dont believe anyone will figure Revelations out until the time comes and is made known to us.

simply put, if u believe the lies of Satan, and accept him as Lord,
then you'll join his kingdom...

he will save a broken NWO system.

using the coming nwo currency (the only currency in the world)
will prove that you are in his kingdom,
as will worshiping him, thinking he is Jesus.

so, while the currency, whether it be in chip form or paper or plastic,
is surely the literal means to buy and sell in that time,
there need not be a "chip" or tattoo at all, to fulfill the scripture.
simply believing his lies will do that...without spending a dime...

but he will have world economical control.



and i still say that the scriptures showing God's mark, described the same way in Ez13, Deut6/11
is surely not a literal mark, but rather spiritual.

those provided scriptures are exactly where we find our relevant OT information to decode that part of the Rev.

almost all of Rev is quoted from, or based directly from, the OT prophets.


so when we read of a mark between the eyes(forhead), and in the (right) hand, in the OT, we should take note.

when we read of 666 in the OT, we should take note.

when we read of the 4 winds, we should take note.

when we read of someone marking/sealing the servants of God, in the OT, we should take note.

anything that we recognize from the OT, that is found in Rev,
is most probably relevant.

i certainly don't

but if u break the first commandment...well then...that proves a lot.

for me, it drives me into His Word, because He has told us all things...
and His Word is a great place to learn about Him.

well, I guess that is a big difference between us eschatologically speaking then,
because I truly believe His Word teaches that we who believe (who are alive during the final time, times, half a time)
shall have to go through a test/time of trial.
a great temptation
a seduction/beguilement of the bride to be.

I truly believe that most will fail..even many claiming to love Him.
only those sealed elect shall pass the test.


I also believe the Millennium is for refining those seduced believers,
before judgement and the eternity begins.

You could very well be right... Looking at what I said, and some points you brought up, you could very well be right. To be honest, Im scared of revelations. Im scared to misinterpret it. Or add or take away anything from it.

As I said later on, the mark could be spiritual because you are buying and selling because you gave in Satan and turned to him. I believe your very right about that. When I start looking at antichrist things, I tend to get caught up in that and forget about actually reading about God. Being a new christian, I feel I need to concentrate more on God than anything else.

I like your points and I believe your right about alot of it. The fact that there are so many theories on Revelations makes me not want to read it as much because I dont know the truth. Some claim its not in chronological order, and then some do. Its alittle frustrating.
