Do you realize that you are mocking all Christians who do not belong to your church everytime you open your mouth?

Please show me where I mocked someone? Did I mock anyone on any knowledge they have concerning their own nationality and language?

We don't mock we ask for clarification. You think those of us that are not greek by nature cannot look up the original greek to expand our teaching? I do this quite a bit. It helps me to take in what is being said.

And I gave you clarification, you just choose to ignore it. So you think looking up what something might mean, by a non Greek modern day scholars by the way, is more factual than 2000 years of the Greek speaking Church? And yes you do mock, well not you personally, but other's, when they say the things they say. Wife not meaning wife (something I never said) and using other word's in the same way, at every chance they get..this is mocking..

But you will find people taking that worshiping idols Commandment and focus too much on the bowing word while staying out of focus on the intended NO NO of doing the actual worshiping just to 'try' to disprove our Icons and Statues as unBiblical. Bowing out of honour is juuuuust fine with God.

Reminds me of a discussion concerning the previous residents of our new home. Our new neighbor said that their visiting friends didn't say much but would often just politely bow to them. They were Japanese

My bible that is greek and yours have different words in them. This is why I stick to my bible. Or maybe it is just the translation of them or something. For when I put a word that my bible uses you say mine is in err and I say yours is in err. This is all I know.

I think I would trust a Greek (and more importantly the Greek Church) to chose the Bible with the correct Greek text Would you trust an individual Arab or Frenchman, with English being their second language to select the proper English version of the Bible ?

Well those who put the original greek in there seemed to know greek wouldn't ya think? Many a greek scholar and those to whom have studied the greek scriptures. Many who have written about them as well.

It seems like a lot of it is missing the forest for the trees...kind of like alot of discussions in Mariology.

Oblio already brought up the Japanese. If you don't know how to bow...forget about conducting business in Japan. It's all about respect, like saluting to a higher ranking officer in the military. Nope, no worship there. It's just hard to piece it together for some, though.

So they are omnipresent? Wow where is this to be found? Only God is omnipresent and knows the heart of men. . How can a human being that is at rest with the Lord hear you?

One who uses Christ Graces with His own free will does so graciously. I'm kind of thinking a Saint is better than a rapist. (I'm afraid to hear your answer to that) Better as in He chose to do what God wanted of Him. The rapist did not.

Many Japanese people know how to give honor and respect. Other countries can learn allot from them including churches.

I disagree. There are plenty of people better than me. I feel that the martyrs, defenders of the faith, and the Mother of my salvation are better than I am. I give honor where its due...Romans 13:7.

I think cultures, especially in the east, the birthplace of our Lord, have the right idea about showing respect to whom we should.

I pray for all of those who are in authority as scripture tells me to do. For it is God who sets them up to be where they are. I trust no man but I can trust my loving and awesome Father for it is through Him that anyone can be where they are. I respect my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I do not bow down to them. I submit to the teaching as it lines up with scripture.

Who cares if their bodies are not Resurrected. Has nothing to do with it. And do you think it's impossible for God to allow them to hear all of the Prayers said to them? You limit God's power by even daring to suggest the impossibility of them not hearing Prayers or you like wise are adding words to our mouths by saying we are suggesting they do this on their own power.

For it is God who sets them up to be where they are.

UH HUH but when it comes to Man over God I must say that is quite a different story. So these graces you talk of? Where do we see this? Where do you see God gave humans power to hear prayers? God is all sufficient. He can hear and answer prayer all by His self. He is who Jesus teaches us to pray to. Our Father who art in Heaven. God is all powerful. We see no where in the scriptures that Men of God pray to Men that have went on to be with the Lord.
