Can't something be 'morally wrong' but not a sin?
A non believer could think it 'morally wrong' to listen to Manson but they can't call it a 'sin'.
The world does not evolve around Christianity, their philosphy, terminology etc, jeez.
Anyways personally I think Manson is an amazingly talented musician. The Dope Show & Holywood are great albums.
It's like this kid i know. His whole family from what I'm told, listens to death metal bands, and i know this kid listens to some seemingly satanist music. Yet, his whole family attends church almost regularly, and I actually got into an argument with the kid over evolution, since I'm an evolutionist christian.Pink Angel said:Merilyn manson to me is a satanist. What he does is not Christian(duh) but I beleive listening to that music is like reading a fantasy book. As long as you know what the truth is and as long as you are strong enough in your faith that you could not be moved by some words and temptations of his songs. I mean he is DEFFINANTLY not a form of worship. I beleive that God isnt happy with what you are doing but just like Salvation he leaves that up to you. It is not necessarily a sin unless you fall into it. I cant think of one off the top of my head but I can garuntee you that there is a hardcore Christian band that could fulfill your need for that style of music.
