I would get used to Trump making politically incorrect statements. He has done it his whole life and he isn't likely to change now.

I mean, I will say this: I do not like Trump. At all. He was the worst of a bad situation. But I have constantly seen the American left scream and cry out "America has nothing to be proud of! Everyone's a killer!" (condensed and played with, of course), but then when Trump comes around and goes "Yes, you are right. We are not innocent", everyone on the left starts gnashing their teeth.

I'm curious to see if the tribal right Trump supporters are suddenly going to start agreeing with the stuff the Left has been saying all this time.

That's why I'm curious what naive Trump voters think of Trump's statement.

As I think the majority of Trump supporters tend not to be naive, it will be hard for you to get any response . From what i can tell, most of Trump's support comes from people not so much enamored by him but simply fed up with the status quo. Only the truly naive or self deceived think of any politician, or any government for that matter, as some kind of savior. I think most of Trump's supporters know he is just as human as they are and do not believe they have to pretend he is perfect when he so often demonstrates the fact he is not. that gives him a lot of leeway to tell the truth about what he thinks as opposed to the rest of the political class who are so steeped in deception based upon their need to comply with political correctness or to hide their true intentions from voters that they themselves perhaps aren't sure what they think. I know this is somewhat out of the box thinking for those that worship their political ideology and consider their political leaders high priests who have no flaws that cannot be rationalized away but it is what I have come to conclude from my observation of and conversations with actual Trump supporters.

Considering that US has been implicitly leading the West in unwinnable wars over the past 20 years with shoddy intelligence and has willingly used drones to target it's own citizens, I'd say it's just about even.
Since it seems that it's okay for the US government to kill hundreds of innocent people in foreign countries.
