The US murders dissenters?
I would get used to Trump making politically incorrect statements. He has done it his whole life and he isn't likely to change now.
I'm curious to see if the tribal right Trump supporters are suddenly going to start agreeing with the stuff the Left has been saying all this time.I mean, I will say this: I do not like Trump. At all. He was the worst of a bad situation. But I have constantly seen the American left scream and cry out "America has nothing to be proud of! Everyone's a killer!" (condensed and played with, of course), but then when Trump comes around and goes "Yes, you are right. We are not innocent", everyone on the left starts gnashing their teeth.
Contrarians.
I don't want to see Trump with his shirt off! And think of the poor horse! It sounds like America would be so much better if Trump behaved more like Putin.

Probably not. Watching the philosophical knots they twist themselves into should be fun to watch, though.Do you really ever think that's gonna happen?

Cognitive dissonance. For both groups really. What's the phrase of that again? Something dissonance?
Cognitive dissonance.
That's why I'm curious what naive Trump voters think of Trump's statement.
But I have constantly seen the American left scream and cry out "America has nothing to be proud of! Everyone's a killer!"

Right. But they weren't proud of it.
Trump is proud to say that his patron is a killer.

(Strawman, you mean.)
There's a difference between "not innocent," and "no better than Putin." I hope someday you realize this.
You have not been on Tumblr.
No national government is worse or better than the other.
Putin just has the personal balls to say "I did do this thing". 90% of the time.
You need to find a better yardstick to measure American sentiment than Tumblr.
Are you kidding me?
"Do this thing" like have his critics jailed?
"Do this thing" like have his political opponents assassinated?
That's what we're "no better" than?
When did you stop believing in America?
So I guess you've never studied history. Although I will make an addendum to that post: no country is worse than North Korea.
Considering that US has been implicitly leading the West in unwinnable wars over the past 20 years with shoddy intelligence and has willingly used drones to target it's own citizens, I'd say it's just about even.
Since it seems that it's okay for the US government to kill hundreds of innocent people in foreign countries.
Oh I've never stopped believing in America. American POLITICS is a whole different story though.
