CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We got the storm, but not as hard as you guys. We woke up to snow, and it was wicked slippery, but we only got about 1/2 inch at my house.Future Preacher said:

It got cold again. It was beautiful early last week, but then, typical Maine weather kicked in. I can't wait until it is warm every day.

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood...la, la, la, la, lala la laaa.....
It's so pretty outside today! 70 degrees! I started some seeds outside today, and did some decorating around the house. I'm so giddy, I can't wait for the warmer weather to stay!

I agree completely....the leaves are out now, and some of my flowers are in bloom.

anybody already tired of mowin the lawn? hahaha i am. I work doing landscape design/installation in Orono and after mowing for customers all week my lawn looks pretty daunting Oh well at least its warm!

Wow, It's really interesting to see what all you were sayin about maine and their accents earlier in this thread! Wanna know why it is? Because I'm from Maine! Anyone else here from Maine? Yeah, I do have the Maine accent and just like most yankee's I do talk surprising fast.
Yes, the winters can be wicked long and terrible, but the snow is so pretty right after it has fallen. And the summers? They are so wonderful! I live in southern Maine, and every summer we go up Maine to Moosehead Lake and stay at our camp. It is absolutly beautiful!
