Come on Mainers, don't be shy! Snow's a comin'! Are you ready?
Cool, I shop in Augusta all the time. My mom lives in Gardiner so i'm over that way a lot.MsDe said:Oh honey, I am SO ready for snow!! Love it love it love it!!! But where is it?!?! I was born and raised here and love this state, but man the seasons sure have been off for a number of years!! It was spitting snow here in Augusta early Sunday morning, before dawn. I woke my hubby up like I do every year when I first see it snowing, and he had the nerve to tell me it wasn't snowing! Uggggghhh!! MEN! heheh
really? Augusta seems to have more than I would ever want.MsDe said:One thing I've found here is a lack of shopping options. Since we've no vehicle, we do a lot of walking, and I've really come to appreciate having stores close to where one lives. Western Avenue has the most options for us.
I love WMSJ. But I can't watch the videos cause i have satellite which doesn't receive local stations . Sometimes I listen to 95.3 as well. But only when it isn't the really slow southern gospel music. That just gets on my nerves.WesleyJohn said:* WesleyJohn is from Maine.
Do any of you ever listen to WMSJ (Joy 89.3)? Have you ever seen their Christian Music Video program that runs on many local access cable TV stations throughout the state?
How about church tomorrow...is your's going to be cancelled? or will you all get together for worship despite the 12 inches of snow we're getting tonight?
Peace,
WJ
