i happen to agree with clem on this one. with the exception that i think sin is real. however we are born of sin and will die of sin. lust is a sin if you give in to it. so if you dont give in then it is just a impure thought. wich if i am not mistaken is a sin also. dont give in to lust and you will be fine

I do not consider feeling lust to be sinful at all -- you cannot control your feelings and experiencing sexual desire or attraction isn't evil. It's what you make of it, as Clem said. Set your limits and refuse to allow yourself to act on your lust when it violates your principles.

lust
n.
  1. Intense or unrestrained sexual craving.
    1. An overwhelming desire or craving: a lust for power.
    2. Intense eagerness or enthusiasm: a lust for life.
  2. Pleasure; relish.
Lust is not always a sin. Sexual craving for your spouse is not a sin. Pleasure, eagerness, enthusiasm are not sins. Lust, as a sin, depends on degree and context.

I wouldn't say "don't" give in to it. I would say understand it, consider it and then decide if it's appropriate or not.
Translation from a from a believer would put this as, "see if you can justify it regardless of what the Spirit or the Law says."
Pass on the moral relativism.

Hey, your choicwe. I choose reality.
That version of reality is usually short sighted (i.e. dependant on the viewers intelligence, honesty, objectiveness, etc.).
So tell us since this is the Philosophy and Morality arena, does that make pornography good or bad?
