Lotus Flower

This probably will sound like a stupid question but it’s been bothering me. I find lotus flowers kind of pretty and have now, and have had in the past, a picture of one on my fb page. Since Buddhists or Hindus or whatever religion uses them as a symbol, is it a sin to have one on my page? I don’t do yoga anymore but I did once, years ago, when it was offered at of all places, my parish. They quit offering it due to its link to Hinduism.

It is just a flower. But, if you tie it to Hinduism, then it may be a sin. God wants us to admire His creation.

IMO, it's not a sin regardless.

Agreed. Unless one idolizes the flower, which is highly unlikely.
