I'm rewatching the show right now, and will have more comments after I watch it again later. For just a few comments.
- Notice how it rained on Locke on the beach and he leaned up to take it in and smiled.
- Locke and Ethan were shot during a rain storm.
- NC, and a general comment, Locke is seeming more sinister and less sympathetic as the season has progessed. It might just be a misguided moral compass, but his connection to the island might also be twisting him. And don't forget, Sawyer the Southerner is a con man and murderer and while Kate is yet to be assigned a nationality, she's a killer too (though Evangel... Mmm, Evangeline.. anyway, she's Canadian). Oh, and Jin's basically a mob goon. Oh, and further, Russeau has been on the Island for 16 years, I don't think anyone can blame her for being crazy.
- Fate, or Kismet running as a theme throughout Sayid's expostion.
- Anyone else notice what a mean person Shannon was to Boone before he died, but what a hysteric "widow" she became after?
- I had to consult the the tape, but Sayid and Assam aren't enjoyng beers, they're drinking tea from their steins.

I watched it while playing in the computer.
Didn't notice much I hadn't already knew.
It did remind you of the unanswered questions.
I know you got a lot of answers with last nights episode, but for those who missed the earlier episodes.
BN: The dinosaur like scream from the forest.
US: It's the Monster and Locke's connection to the Island when it gave him the boar.
BN: What ever ate the pilot.
US: The Monster. From what I have read, more data will be revealed before season's end.
BN: Why the hand held radio couldn't transmit,
US: Russeau's loop was interfering with it's transmission meaning her transmiter is more powerful. Also it's battery ran out. Sayid's second transmission attempt was foiled by (see below).
BN: But the planes radio could.
US: The same reason for the Monster, Hurley's lottery numbers and Russeau's perm still being intact after a decade and a half - sometimes you have to suspend belief and accept that a radio battery of indeterminate age could suddenly work.
BN: Who answered the planes radio call?
US: Still unanswered, but it appears that the survivors of Oceanic flight 815.
BN: What is the metal hatch?
US: This one is killing me. From what Locke and Boone dug up, it looks like a pod of some sort, and the light suddenly appearing during Boone's death episode is maddening. Did Locke see inside? What was inside? Why did it apparently answer his plaint? How did the Island know he'd toss the flashlight to Boone, and that Boone would drop it at precisely the proper place in the jungle to find it? Grrrr!
BN: What is the illness that made the woman kill the others of her group.(or had to kill them)
US: Given that we have about 5 hours of Island story/exposition to resolve even a portion of these "answered" (but further question inducing) questions, and about 4 hours of show remaining for season one - I'm guessing Russeau her expidition will be further addressed in season two...
I can't wait!!!!
