I remember hearing it on Extra that a main character will die. I pray it is not Hurley- he is much needed in the show and on the island. He's like a 'break' from all the tension, stress, etc. What about Boone? could he be a possibility?

Yeah, I wouldn't miss Boone if he's the one to go. But since there's already a shortage of female characters, I'm betting they'll keep Shannon around for awhile.

Just for clarification, Shannon and Boone are steps, not halves. I think his father married her mother and they became siblings when they were 12 or 13 years old.

Charley and Hurley are loved to much.
Locke and Sawyer are the conflict and mystery in the story.(like them or not they are pivotal roles.
Jack is pretty pivotal too. But he is pretty small in some stories.
Michael?
Sayeb and Jinn?

ON the womans side?
Kate- prominate char.
Shannon-the female conflict char.
Sun? pretty hot body
Rose?not a main char.

I think Jin is the most likely character to die. It seems he's let Sun go so with him out of the picture it opens the door to developing Mike and Sun more.

I think if LOCKE, Sawyer,Sayeb or Kate, I think the show would take a hard setback. And might not make it.
And I think by this forum, If Charlie or Hurley die then it would loose
some loveable Charactures.(not my oppinion but from different posters.)

These are the Charactures I don't think they can easily write off.

The more I think about it, Boone serves very, very little purpose on the island. He falls asleep during his watch, he's sneaky, and obviously very easily manipulated (as evidence by Shannon's former games). He's basically worthless...plus he whines A LOT. My vote goes to Boone. Plus, minus his sister, there's no girl left for him to pine over.

The only reason I can think of it NOT being Boone is because he's the obvious choice.

I think they should do a "Lord of the Flies" type of death scene for Boone... just like how they killed Piggy in the book.

But Boone has been "touched," for lack of a better word, by the island. As Locke's sidekick, they now have a posse of "touched" folk.

Just found this thread -- I, too, am a Lost fan. I've noticed that all the characters have done some regrettable things in life, but still have good hearts. The island has given them all a second chance to "do it right." I'm captivated by the show and can't wait to see the next episode tonight!! (Hope you guys don't mind my joining the thread)
