USincognito said:Just one quick nitpick Billnew: Jack's dad was dead before they got on the plane so he couldn't be a survivor.![]()
I enjoyed this Sawyer episode much more than the first one. And if anything I liked it because I finally noticed Josh Holloway is left handed. I noticed it when he went to kill shrimp Sawyer (who turned out not to be) and checked my still taped Charlie episode to find he drew on Ethan with his left. I need to check part 2 of the Pilot to see if he's fighting Sayeed using his left hand.
The plot twist wasn't as much of a stunner as some of the other episodes, but I didn't quite see it coming. I was watching Scrubs while I taped the first half-hour and flipping back and forth. When I saw the "I never..." part, I was first under the impression that Sawyer hadn't killed anyone. After I rewatched the whole show it made sense, but Robert Patrick's character is still a bit of an enigma. Did he set Sawyer up to pull off an assasination for him?![]()
The guy yelling at the airport in Jin and Sun's episode was Jack trying to get his fathers corpse on the plane while the Oceanic staffer was telling him no.
Sawyer might be a con-man with a heart of gold, but he's still a con-man and I think that's why he didn't fully come clean with Sayeed about the voices or tell Jack he met his father in the bar. He keeps his hand close to the vest.
He has been seen on the island, he was dead before the crash, but is he still dead? His body was never found was it?(the casket was but not the body)
I would not write off the father, at least not yet.
We will just have to watch this wednesday.
