Lost a Cousin I Never Knew

As is typical in my large extended family, I just came back from a viewing from someone who was apparently my cousin, attended by a lot of other people who were apparently also my cousins.

I can't say many honorable things about him; he got arrested for sleeping with a 14-year old girl when he was 30, he had a tendency to get drunk & do crazy things, I can't remember what else he got arrested for, but overall, he made very poor life choices.

I'd like prayers for something good to come from memories of him, instead of just complaints about how he lived. I doubt if I'll ever see the fruits of any positive support for him--I'm not even sure where he lived--but I know that something good can come out of everything, so let's try to find that goodness here.

My grandma (his aunt?) said that he was a sweet little boy, but went a little crazy after his parents divorced, and just kept going down the wrong path.

Anything more specific than that? You don't have to share them here, just hold on to them. There's not much else you can do. That's what I have to do with memories of my deceased cousin who made poor life choices.

Sorry for the loss of your family, I hope his heart changed, only God knows but the fact is that GOD KNOWS and he gives us every opportunity to call out to Him.
