Hi, I used this forum a while like 15 years ago, so I perhaps could remember some long-time users. Now I just use FB for account, with real name and picture, so I need to think better what to write. :)

I'm looking for knowledge about how to better use my life positively in accordance to the faith and I like debates, philosophy, psychology, geo-politics, history, different kind of non-fiction books, rock music, geeks, hippies, spiritual, open minded, non-conventional, honest, artists, friendly, Christian ETC... friends.

Make time pass in a, hopefully, positive and inspiring community. Avoiding any Richard Dawkins atheist cult-member's memes and intellectual obnoxiousness, but I like thoughtful, polite dialogue.

Living a day at the time.

Edit: Excuse my profile-picture, I practice HEMA (historical-European-martial-arts ) and reenactment in a club based in Bergen, Norway, and would love to meet others with the interest.

Southernscotty and
akaDaScribe, how do I get "privileges" to visit and answer posts in the Christian sections of CF? Is it 15 posts or so I need to write, to get access to more interesting parts of the forums?

Welcome to CF. HEMA seems pretty cool

Yes, I totally reccommend HEMA, it's not just hard training doing this, causing a flow of endorphines and dopamin, giving good health, but as a form of extreme martial arts - using medieval weapons, such as sword, axe, Dane-axe, spear, longspear ETC, raises self-esteem. Most of all though it's a lot of fun, such as fighting in groups of hundreds against a similar group, using advanced tactics and strategy based on 1000 year old manuals. Also it's possible to use reenactment of historical battles, giving great entertainment for example being rented out to perform for museums. In addition to use handcraft to make weapons, shields, historical correct clothing, armor. So I totally reccommend it to anyone, contacting a local club and try it out.
