the fundamental problem that stands out to me in my area is probably 99% of the people (in and outside of churches) are only focused on secular indulgence, which manifests in all kinds of ways such as drinking, drugs, debt, which brings even more uneccesary problems. i obviously want to help these people but i want to avoid this common lifestyle's problems possibly causing problems for my family, i'm not trying to eliminate the risk but just give my kids the best odds i can in a practical manner. thanks for the input
