How are yall doin? I have not been here in a while and Howdy to all that dont know me. I really miss my little man with the coveralls. Life on the ridge is blessed. I have a question for the world. What do you perceive a felon to be?
I really need a Christian perspective on this. 1976 marijuana possesion over 4 oz. Sentenced to three years probation and never got in trouble again.THIRTY TWO years later they are not allowed to hunt, drive truck,be a nurse, or even a beautitan.Let hear it.

As to the felony charges *frowns* that does seem a bit excessive, considering a clean record since. Have you attempted to have your record (or whomever you are referring to) expunged?

Yes, very often, we can see, this CONTRAST between the heart of man
and the boundless mercy of, the Almighty's forgiveness



Here in the UK... a SENTENCE is considered 'SPENT' past the 'release'

And for sure, convicted paedophiles, should-not, take up child-care jobs
EVER!!!!

BUT, the OFFENCE you mentioned
which was followed followed by, the slap on the wrist 'judgement'
and which was plainly, served appropriately and repented

SHOULD NOT [imo] be used to PUNISH [ENDLESSLY] in the manner you described

We, are taught
to obey those, in power over-us [iow: to-accept, our LOT]

and whatever our personal feelings

this won't stop our feelings being so contrary
with regard to obviously 'excessively-harsh' side-effects

As for your question: My two cents: It is a case of a minor offense being dropped into the arena with offenses that are not minor. I personally do not think anything to do with marijuana is that big of a deal (no, I don't use it.) It is breaking the law but drinking and driving is just as bad and that certainly is considered a less offense. Hope to see you more often.
