Nope it sure isn't.

Like the others, Servant, I can empathize with you. It's not easy when you feel betrayed or "left behind" for someone else.

Well if it makes it any better someone I was involved with recently got married, which is pretty depressing. I don't think that anything that anyone would say will help, I'll still try but it won't help. But at least it will make the pain bittersweet, at least it will make the hurt tolerable though not less, so I would hope.

just found out someone I was seeing up until a couple months ago, is now involved with someone...

well did my crying and my face feels like a punching bag, Mom told me not to worry that my turn is coming up, but my heart is so weary and i'm mentally exhausted that I dont want anyone telling me anything, so yeah loneliness is looking really good to me right now...

Blah, I hate reading this thread sometimes...because is breaks my heart so often.

It breaks my heart to see so many people in so much pain.

So many who's heart is bleeding

So many that deserves love are left broken

I really don't have any great bible verse, quote, or anything like that. All I can say..is that since joining this board i have began to pray for this board so much

Each one of you, men and ladies...deserve romance, love, and a special some one
Each one of you are worth being loved...because God has made you amazing, handsome/beautiful, and wonderful!

But i understand how you'all feel....I have been part of a clique with four couples....2 are married, 1 are engaged, and the other is about to be engaged sometime soon.

Definitely that was pretty moto for me at least. Albeit I had to be ugly enough to get the Marines, but I make up for it by having a uniform, and a steady, though really really small, paycheck. I really appreciate the sentiment, with a heart that big I doubt you'll remain single for long. Hopefully mine will measure up.

Don't every underestimate yourself...find the good in you...the good that God created...and learn to accepted that. Think of Frodo...Sam...and other "small" or underestimated heroes...and all the good they did.

believe it or not T, i dont mind the "advice" or any words of wisdom, thats what i really want and need to hear, what i dont want to hear is that someone knows of someone that they can "hook me up with". I cant stand that . Just leave me alone in God's will, not yours.

I'm tired of putting my mind through thinking "is he for me?", "what about this guy, Lord?"

I just want to enjoy my current relationship with the Lord....

The ministry called! Finally! They were pretty much just confirming my application had been recieved and the info on it. I now have to go through some "fun" medical stuff.

I picked a life where most of the people I meet wind being somewhere fairly quickly I am moving roughly 3000 miles away from my parents, I chose to do this, soon almost everybody I know will be somewhere else. I am going to Pendleton, everybody in my class is going elsewhere, I do not know how this makes me feel. It's almost like I chose to be lonely in some subconscious way. I wonder why this is, it defies my own ability to explain, but I think that may for at least me be true, and that's kind of depressing, if in some cerebral way.

Figure out what your thinking...journal sometime, and begin to understand how you act.

Thoughts become action, action becomes habits, habits become character, and character is who you are.

I just got done with few bouts with Loneliness. If I was to sum it up, the feeling of self pitty and discontentment that chains you down. Have to be thankful for all small blessings you have, and realize only limitations in life are ones you place on yourself.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I had to realize that people aren't going to knock on my door and say "can i be your friend?". I have to go out to places what share same intrest and take a risk. Open myself to other people and risk rejection for the chance of reaping new friendships.

I found that internet been kind of a trap, instant gradification if you will. Easy find websites that people share same intrest, but no substitue for real life interaction. Go to places and experience new things, then when get into conversation can have something to talk about. Stop spending money on bigger toys and spend it on new experiences.

Just what I concluded so far, hope it helps you.
