  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's reminiscent of the 2004 election.

Pretty funny.

Yeah, I'll have to admit I was fearful of the tyrant Bush but thankfully I wasn't too vocal about it. Now I'm much happier understanding that in the end they're all scum.

Wait until you're at my income level and paying 40% taxes and then come back and talk to me kid.
Internet rich guy, rather than internet tough guy?

You could make triple what you do now, and you'd still be wrong. Sorry.

What income do you pay 40% at?

I'm at anywhere between 87k & 96k (depending on how my company does for the year)

By the time I pay federal, state, local, residence, and work-city taxes, I lose around 40%.

I lose about 17k-20k from federal alone.

No, the 5 big counties that are out might just hold off... hopefully not because there are problems .... Osceola, Orange, Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade counties are all still out.

What polls are YOU watching?

Because this is what my polls are telling me:

Osceola, 89% in, Obama overwhelmingly.
Orange, 92% in, Obama overwhelmingly.
Miami-Dade, 70% in, leaning Obama.
Palm Beach, 99% in, Obama overwhelmingly.
Broward, 89% in, Obama overwhelmingly.

At this point there are only 3 counties with less than 75% and no counties with less than 50%.

Florida's still really close.

I'm amazed at how "off" the polls were for some of these states ... what happened ?
The Panhandle votes from Florida aren't in yet, and they lean toward the GOP. I don't think Romney can win without Florida

I'm still wondering how that's going to affect states like California that passed the National Popular vote laws

If that gave the election to Romney I would laugh oh-so-hard.
