  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My spending will go to minimum. Save, save, save.

Unfortunately, saving might not be good enough...if the value of US currency takes a dive, having $1 vs $100,000 will equate to about the same thing.

Diversify some your savings in various currencies when the exchange rates are right .

I have about a third of my savings in 2 currencies that aren't US Dollars.

Swiss franc would be a good one to check out. I have some savings in that form...it holds its value pretty well

Virginia is razor tight. 16,000 vote margin to Obama now.

This election isn't done. Hang on.

How do they call Ohio when it's only 30,000 apart and only 71% of the votes are in?

No, can't save much money to make a difference. Food stuffs have increased maybe over 17% this year... so that's a huge savings if you can store it and rotate it... plus other saving measures...but money in the bank? The government can take that already... when Obama enacted his health care plan, they legally accessed all our bank accounts so they could extract the tax if we didn't play along with the health care act... plus the dive in money value... and while silver and gold might work shortly, there won't be anyone to buy it, and as the Bible says, people will throw it in the streets because it will be worthless in a cashless global society (get your numbers HERE folks (not)... lol sigh.

May God change things... and have mercy upon us still.
