  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

65% in New Hampshire for Obama! Oh...1% reporting. Carry on.

But when you readjust the numbers to unspin the poll he is clearly losing that state by 30%, oh, you can't do that to election results?

Seems wrong to announce results coming in early, but what do I know.

I have been quite clear that these are only partial, early results.

In that vein, Indiana is starting to report in also heavily in Romneys favor and again no surprises there.

So who's covering what media with their outlandish reporting tonight???? I refuse to listen to anything but maybe BBC London, SRN or maybe FOX for a little bit. :O

Florida also closes in 15 minutes (7PM EST)... however the "pre voting" turnout (not my term, Ms Snipes term ) was huge with nearly 350,000 between early voting and absentees, which means a long count....

IDK if we really had that many people show up to vote today. . . though lines were unbelievably long in many areas... I think it's from 2 things : 1, the ballot is the longest in history plus it's confusing and if you didn't work on your sample ballot the week before, you have no idea what you're reading or doing, and 2. people brought their children to wait in line and see the process . Many people may have left when they saw 1/2 mile long lines, IDK.

Anyway, when you hear of record voting in FL... wait and see if it really was a high turnout of voters (I hope so!)

PLUS don't count the SE part of FL (Broward and Miami-Dade counties) out of the running for Romney... there is a high Jewish population which inherently vote Democratic, but local Rabbis urged them to vote for Romney because of Obama turning on Israel. (Don't yell at me, I'm just reporting the facts.)
